How To Use

Keep it in a soap dish that has grates, allowing for air circulation around the bar. This will keep your soap harder and longer lasting.

Seaside escape soap

Very silky soap feels great. Has an ok lather. Smells really good but the scent fades quickly and I’d like it to be a bit stronger

Hi Candy, Thanks for your feedback. This is a very strong fragrance, so I am surprised that it didn't last for you. Soap fade is very normal in bar soap. This is simply what happens over time in a solid bar of soap. The scent starts to fade out of the bar as you use it, it’s getting smaller, and it’s exposed to air. When we make our bar soaps we add the maximum amount of fragrance called for by the manufacturer otherwise too much can cause skin irritations.

Also, not all fragrances have staying power either. Peppermint and Almond for example last much longer because they are stronger. Having used all our scents to make sure that they perform well, I agree that some scents fade especially as the bar gets smaller, but as I apply it to my puff ball, the scent is still there, just not as strong in the shower.

Another thing to keep in mind with scent...our noses contain receptors that recognize new scents. Over time, those receptors become used to a scent and it will no longer smell as strong.
