Butters (Emollients)

Avocado Butter
(Persea Gratissima Oil (and) Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil). This butter blend contains avocado fruit oil thought to add moisturizing attributes while exhibiting low comedogenicity on the skin. It is considered to improve the feel of rough, dry skin and provide moisturizing properties to products.

Cocoa Butter, Refined
Refined Cocoa Butter is extracted from the seed kernels and is further refined and deodorized to yield an ultra white colored butter with little odor. Cocoa butter contains natural antioxidants. It helps with dry or itchy skin, stretch marks, skin elasticity, holding moisture in the skin, easing wrinkles, fading scars and burn marks.

Green Tea Butter
Green Tea butter contains Green Tea Powder, thought to protect the skin from aging and damage from UVB sun rays. It is also thought to possess natural anti-inflammatory, anti-cellulite and anti-irritancy properties. Our Green Tea Butter contains Sweet Almond Oil, a natural moisturizer that is thought to relieve (among other things) itching.

Horsetail Butter
Horsetail butter contains horsetail extract, believed to contain the building blocks needed for collagen and elastin synthesis in the skin. Also thought to help rebuild and regenerate damaged skin cells. Our horsetail butter contains Sweet Almond Oil, a natural moisturizer that is thought to relieve (among other things) itching.

Kokum Butter
Kokum butter is obtained from fruit kernels of the Indian tree. The butter is extracted and further processed and refined to obtain a white butter. Pure kokum butter considered to be up to 80% of stearic-oleic-stearic (SOS) triglycerides which are thought to prevent dry skin. It’s solid at room temperature, but melts readily on contact with the skin. This is one of the most stable and hardest vegetable butters known.

Mango Butter, Refined
Mango butter contains antioxidants, fatty acids, and stearic acid. It helps with dry, chapped skin; eczema; and psoriasis. Pure mango butter which is thought to exhibit excellent moisturizing properties while countering the drying effects of chemically saturated commercial bar and liquid soaps and cleansers.

Shea Butter Natural
Shea butter contains vitamins A, E and F and is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. It helps with dry skin, burns, sores, scars, dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, and stretch marks. Shea butter is easily absorbed into the skin and does not clog the pores. It can help protect against the sun’s UV rays.
